| World Health Day was celebrated in IGGMC, Nagpur on 8th April under the able guidance of our respected Dean, Dr. Ravi Chauhan Sir. Nursing staff and students were made aware about the oral hygiene maintenance practices, role of systemic diseases leading to oral diseases and how to take precautions for the same.
Importance of diet modification in prevention of caries . Various dental treatment modalities was explained and shown by audio visual methods and students were made aware for the same. Ill effects of tobacco leading to oral precancer and cancer was also explained. Students were given information regarding management of post operative care of oral hygiene also. World Health Day pamphlets were also distributed amongst the nursing staff and students.
